What is The Collette Foundation?
The Collette Foundation is an employee-run, global initiative connecting Collette employees, its partners, travelers and communities worldwide to improve and extend the quality of life of children.
Through a 5-year, $2 million dollar investment, the Collette Foundation will fund projects in twenty countries worldwide.
If you participate in a tour that is listed on this page it travels to one of the project centers listed below.

Here are the projects that they are currently funding.....
America's Second Harvest Food Banks, United States The Collette Foundation is partnering with America's Second Harvest Food Banks in New Orleans, Louisiana and Albuquerque, New Mexico to support The BackPackTM Program. This program is designed to meet the needs of hungry children by providing "kid friendly" groceries in non descript backpacks that the children carry home.
Granja Hogar del Los Ninos, Mexico The Granja Hogar del Los Ninos School is a boarding school for orphaned children in Chihuahua, Mexico. The Collette Foundation will provide funding to further develop the school's mathmatics workshop, giving teachers new tools to enhance the student's math skills.
Peruvian Hearts, Peru Together the Collette Foundation and Peruvian Hearts support the Hogar de Mercedes de Jesus Molina Orphanage through a vitamin and nutrition program. Over the next 5 years the Collette Foundation will provide funding for structural enhancements to the orphanage.
San Gabriel Shelter, Costa Rica The San Gabriel Shelter provides Hospice care for children and their families. The Collette Foundation will provide funding for additional staff members and additional transportation.
Cultúrlann McAdam O'Fiaich, Ireland The Cultúrlann McAdam O'Fiaich is an Irish language arts and community center dedicated to enriching the lives of Ireland's underprivileged children. The Collette Foundation will provide funding for the remodeling of a children's room, language books, arts and craft materials, and audio equipment.
Hippo Water Rollers, South Africa Hippo Rollers are barrel-shaped containers designed to transport 90 liters (20 gallons) of water. These containers allow up to 5 times the normal amount of water to be collected. The Collette Foundation is partnering with Hippo Rollers to provide villages in need with these containers.
Knysna Educational Trust, South Africa The Knysna Educational Trust was developed to aid impoverished children at the pre-school level. The Collette Foundation will assist the trust in providing chalk boards to schools, classroom materials and fund projects to improve school room facilities.
Tenderfeet Education Center, Kenya The Tenderfeet Education Center is a school for pre-school and kindergarten age orphans in Kibera, Kenya. The Collette Foundation will support the Center by purchasing land and providing funding to build a new school.
New Hope Foundation, China The New Hope Foundation is a foster home which provides care and medical treatment for abandoned babies born with birth defects. The Collette Foundation will support The New Hope Foundation financially, allowing the babies to receive the best possible care.
Drum Atweme, Australia Drum Atweme is a group that meets the needs of at-risk Aboriginal youth between the ages of 6 - 13 through music. The Foundation will provide new uniforms to the predominantly self-funded group, and financial support for educational programs at their school.
Alexandria Park Community School, Australia The Alexandria Park Community School is a creative school for children from kindergarten through year 12. The Foundation will provide the school with sports equipment and additional computers for classroom learning.
